With over 30 years of agriculture industry experience Brian Heinze, the founder of Heinze Ag Consulting has assembled a very impressive resume.

After graduating from California State University, Chico with a degree in agronomy he started his career as an agronomist for the renowned J.G. Boswell Company where he supervised the production of 25,000 acres of cotton, wheat, safflower and seed alfalfa. He managed all aspects of production including land preparation, planting, fertility, pest control and harvesting. After three years Brian was promoted to the position of Senior Agronomist on another Boswell ranch where he managed the production of processing tomatoes, garlic and onions in addition to his previous responsibilities.

Five years into his career Mr. Heine decided to move laterally in the agriculture industry moving into the crop protection chemical industry with the French company, Rhone – Poulenc Ag Company. As a sales representative

Brian grew his sales territory to the largest in the company history at that time. At the merger of Rhone –Poulenc and the German company AgrEvo he served on the integration committee and was promoted into Account management with the newly combined company, Aventis Crop Science. In addition to his account management responsibility he headed up the Horticulture Crop Team as well as becoming a member of the Global Fipronil Team.

After a successful ten year career with multinational companies Brian saw an opportunity in the early stages of the generic industry and formed his first company, AgValue. The company specialized in tree nut, vine and sugar beet herbicides. After rapid growth over the next four years Mr. Heinze was approached by the publicly traded Indian company, United Phosphorous to acquire AgValue. After agreeing to sell the business, Brian agreed to a five year non compete and moved from California to Oregon to fulfill a lifetime dream where he started a Purebred Cattle operation.

After serving out his non compete Mr. Heinze missed the crop protection industry and decided to found his second generic company, Willowood USA. For over eight years he served as the President and CEO of Willowood USA growing the business from inception to nearly a $100 M in annual revenue. At the end of 2017 Brian decided to step down from the day to day management of Willowood USA and form Heinze Ag Consulting offering clients consulting services covering the entire agriculture industry across North America.
